Mark Stevens

Mark Stevens

Mark Stevens started in the entertainment industry in 1985. At the age of 13 he became a team member in the iconic Australian television show Young Talent Time, where he worked alongside Danni Minogue and Tina Arena. Following this, Mark played ‘Nick Page’ in the well-loved Australian Television show Neighbours, again working alongside household names like Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan and Craig McGlaughlan. Neighbours was the show responsible for opening doors for Mark into the UK where he worked in theatre, recorded his first single and toured with Take That.

Mark’s life went on a downward spiral when he was gripped by drug and alcohol addiction in his late teens. By the age of 26 he had lost everything. It was in that place of desperation that Mark cried out to God in London city in 1996. God’s presence impacted his life in such a powerful way, so much so, that Mark would never look back. He was completely transformed overnight, walking away from his life of addiction and embracing a brand new start.

Mark became a passionate and committed follower of Jesus Christ. A friend took him to Hillsong Church in London and it was there that he bumped into his purpose. After a while he started leading worship & writing songs to glorify Jesus Christ. Soon after joining Hillsong Mark moved to Australia where he would base himself for 3 years at Hillsong Church in Sydney, singing, writing & touring worldwide with the Hillsong worship team under the leadership of Brian and Bobbie Houston, and Darlene Zschech, where ‘All of My Days’, ‘God Of All Creation,’ and ‘You Stand Alone’ would become Hillsong anthems.

Mark met his now wife Bethan at Hillsong in Sydney Australia and a year after moved to Abundant Life Church Bradford England, working alongside respected global communicator Paul Scanlon, the Senior Pastor of Abundant Life Church.

As the Creative Director at ALC, Mark served on the Abundant Life team for 11 years, active in leading worship, writing music, teaching, touring and creating successful dramatic productions. During Mark’s time with both Hillsong and Abundant Life Church he has been involved in the recording and co-production of 19 albums.

2012 brought a new chapter to Mark’s life, seeing him travel extensively leading worship, building worship teams, teaching, and consulting to pastors and churches, keen to benefit from his experience at the sharp end of ministry.Alongside this he has been showcasing his new solo album ‘To Be with You.’ This project is filled with testimonial songs that Mark hopes will impact your life and encourage you on your journey.

Mark and Beth live in Bradford England, have been married now for 11 years and have two beautiful children, Jonah and Sienna.

Danny Thornton

Danny Thornton

In the early 1980’s Danny Thornton worked the streets of Syracuse as an Evangelist. It was the early days of his ministry as a street preacher, and outreach director, and he also had a radio outreach program, all while he faithfully served as an assistant to his pastor, James Farley of Calvary Church (now Family Worship Center) in Clay, NY, for eleven years. In June of 1990 Danny and his wife, Jean, were released to pioneer an inner-city church in the heart of Syracuse. Against all odds, River Church (aka Solid Rock) flourished and became one of the most respected ministries to serve the people of the Syracuse Metro area. During this time the church was credited by Syracuse Food Bank for having served up to one million meals in one year.

Danny, through his dynamic charisma, has invested his life in evangelizing a lost world for the gospel of Jesus Christ. He is a conference preacher, ministering across the USA, from New York to California, and internationally. He is a disciple-making pastor with a passion to reach the lost and hurting, and to teach and raise up leaders.

Danny married his high school sweetheart, Jean Marie, and they have been married for forty-six years (and counting!). But what they are most proud of, and thankful for, is their family of two lovely daughters, two fine son-in-laws, and six grandchildren who all have a relationship with God and are serving in their church. Danny and Jean have been the Lead Pastors of River Church now for twenty-eight years. Danny is also the Founder of GodSTrength.Coach™ Ministries, Inc., which provides: ministry to men; evangelism training (street, lifestyle and power); one-on-one personal coaching, short- and long-term; marriage guidance; personal life change through pastoral care; discipleship training and tools, and how to use them; leadership training; and ministry/church consulting.

Roger Greene

Roger Greene

Roger Greene first discovered the power of God’s Word in 1989 at a point of crisis in his work. This book is his testimony of how he has integrated his faith with his career, to the point where God has moved in amazing signs and wonders in his work and business life.

Roger writes from the unique perspective of a career in top leadership positions in the public, commercial and voluntary sectors in the UK over 30 years. He was a Chief Executive in the NHS for 12 years, and is now a Director of the consulting business Tricordant Ltd. He leads the Ignite fellowship of Christians from a variety of denominations in the workplace and business in the south-east of England.

He believes passionately that the sacred-secular divide is a man-made falsehood that God is dismantling, and that Christians in the workplace and business have a first-class spiritual calling to be His Church in the world, to usher in the Kingdom of God “on earth as it is in heaven”.

Roger is married with 3 daughters and 3 grandchildren (to date!). He lives in West Sussex but says that while you can take the boy out of Liverpool, but you can never take Liverpool out of the boy!

You can find out more about the Ignite fellowship of Christians at www.ignitework.net.

Evelyn Gipson

Evelyn Gipson

Pastor Evelyn Gipson is a ministry co-worker at Life Church Assembly of God in Roscoe, Illinois under the apostolic covering of the Assemblies of God Presbyter and Lead Pastor Kevin Kringel.

She is co-pastor of the Abundant Living Discipleship Classes at Life Church and has worked alongside Pastor Beverly Tucker for ten years. Their longtime friendship has brought the development of a strong love for the Lord, a love for people, and a passion to see the body of Christ come into agreement with healing for the body, the mind, and the soul.

Evelyn is known for her strong gift of faith. Those working with her have witnessed her hard work and dedication first hand as she continues to develop in the ways of God and deepens her relationship with the Lord. God has blessed her with a healing anointing that He uses to touch people in pain. She has been diligent throughout her ministry career to study the life of Jesus, His ministry, His teachings, and all that the blood of Jesus does for the body of Christ.

Evelyn’s tremendous love for people has launched her into this evangelistic call on her life. Evangelism remains a huge part of her ministry and is the main focus for the establishment of the healing ministry to which God has called her. She always has a testimony and not many get by her without hearing something about what God has done or is doing. If you see her out and about, you can be sure she will be bragging on God and marking people for His kingdom.

Evelyn and Roy, her husband of forty-nine years, make their home in Machesney Park, Illinois. They have five children and ten grandchildren.
